REVIEW

"Full of suspense, action and adventure!"

I've been a fan of Vicki Hinze for a long time. Her books, to me, are guaranteed great reads full of suspense, adventure and action.

This book tells the story of U. S. Vice President Sybil Stone. Her code name is Lady Liberty and she's in Geneva, Switzerland negotiating peace talks when she gets an urgent phone call telling her that she has to get back to the United States with a brief case as soon as she possibly can. It is a matter of great urgency.

When Lady Liberty gets on the plane she makes all unnecessary personnel and the press get off. Then as they get underway, her bodyguard Jonathan Westford realizes that something is wrong when he hears the pilot request cream in his coffee. Since Westford knows the pilot and knows he drinks his coffee black, he knows that this is a signal. Westford grabs Sybil and jumps off the plane. He has no parachute but Sybil does. They land in the Everglades in Florida and only have so much time to get back to Washington, DC to avert disaster of epic proportions.

Will they make it in time and will they find out who the traitor is? Why is everybody trying to make out like Sybil is the 'bad guy"?

I highly recommend this book. This is practically a one sitting read. I know that once I started reading this one I very nearly didn't want to stop. I eagerly await each and every book that Vicki Hinze writes! I look forward to what adventure she will take us on next.
