Ariana Karras is a classic workaholic. Despite having spent much time in San Francisco, she has been so caught up in her uncle's restaurant that she hasn't had time to experience the city. Until now. The restaurant is being renovated and will be closed for a week, leaving Ariana free of obligations. Riding home in a cable car, she stumbles across a magazine showing couples having assignations in different parts of the city, and her imagination is set aflame. And the man who plays a starring roll in those fantasies is Max.

When Ariana encounters Max at the restaurant later, little does she know that the bachelor party he is attending is in his honor, and that he is supposed to get married in the morning. And she doesn't realize that he's been drugged when they leave together for a wild night.

This sets them on a daring adventure, complete with a missing fiance, enraged father of the missing fiance, and some tabloid reporters who are out for dirt. On top of which, as a side effect of the drug, Max doesn't remember their fabulous night together. Ariana and Max must resovle a number of things before they can even consider happily ever after.
