REVIEW

"Wonderful start to a new trilogy"

Jenny, Andrea and Kristin Sullivan are not just sisters, they are triplets, as well. Although each has a distinct personality that is very unique, and they have separate lives, loves, hopes and dreams; underneath it all they have a very special bond.

Jenny is known to family and peers as "Jenny Perfect" because she had always made the right choices in life. Recently, though, she is not quite sure she has made the right choice. Jenny and her husband Josh are expecting twins, however the biological father is not Josh, but her husband's brother, Sam O'Neal.

When tradgedy strikes Jenny's world is turned upside down. She is facing the most devastating loss of her life while giving birth to her twins, Tucker and Lara. She doesn't know what to do or where to turn but Sam is there for her. Although he is suffering too, he becomes her rock.

Sam opens up his life, home and heart to Jenny and the twins. She accepts, knowing that she will need someone with strength to help her carry on. As time progresses so do the feelings that Sam and Jenny have for one another. They are not only bonded through the twins, their feelings turn to something in a deeper level. Trying to ignore those feelings has become impossible so Sam and Jenny tread lightly in this most fragile situation.

Secondary characters add depth and emotion to enhance this love story. We see that even though life may become unbearable at times, somewhere there is a light at the end of the tunnel, taking us on a new journey in life.

MY HUSBAND, MY BABIES was a unique story filled with many emotional stuggles. Watching the characters evolve after such a tragedy is bound to tug at you heart. Debra Salonen pens a bittersweet love story with a fresh storyline and a love that stays with you long after the book is over. I am looking forward to reading Andrea's story next, book two in The Sullivan Sisters Trilogy.
