REVIEW

"Sensually Charged"

Lois Commoner has had enough. Her life sucks. Her parents are dead, she hurts constantly, her job as a cop has her confined to her desk, and she has no one. No one to care if she laughs or loves, no one to care if she lives or dies. Armed with a handful of painkillers, and enough Star Trek to bear her on into the arms of death, she gives up the fight.

But the fight isn't willing to give her up. She awakens in the Sandlands, a dimension, a land of unimagined beauty, free of pain, and wonderous in its discoveries. Even more wonderous were the shapeshifting creatures who inhabit it, and the heir to the throne who claims her as his own.

Small packages definitely contain a heated punch. Canis Royal, for it's brevity in pages more than makes up for it in the exciting, humorous story contained within. It whips you from reality, holds you there with heated caresses and passion's sighs and makes you long for a shapeshifting Puma of your own. This is a story you can't put down. One you'll revisit just for the exhileration of revisiting the handsome, lusty hero through the perspective of the woman who gets to tame him.

Summary

Detective Lois Commoner has had enough. Deciding to end it all as an escape to ongoing physical agony, she overdoses one night while Star Trek blares in the background. To her amazement, instead of waking up dead, she finds herself in the Sandlands...a startlingly beautiful world whose inhabitants are shape-shifters. An ordinary woman on Earth, Lois is fought over in the Sandlands, where tough, scarred women are prized as highly desirable mates. And it seems like the entire royal family has turned their attention to Lois, including the king, his heir, and the two younger princes. Let the Bridefight begin... Sexual Content: Hard R. Genre: Fantasy.
