"A fun look at snowboarding!"

Tessa O'Neal has been through one failed marriage and a broken engagement all because she never could get over Mitch Ryder whom she met eight years ago. Mitch was a snow- boarder and was at the top of his game. He wasn't ready for any type of commitment and Tessa didn't want to wait around for Mitch to finally decide he wanted to settle down.

Now Ines, Tessa's boss has blackmailed her to help Mitch take his business to the next level. Tessa's only got one week at this job before she quits to start her own business. She thinks Ines plays unfairly but decides what the heck.

Mitch knows that Tessa is good in her field and he also knows that he's never gotten over her. Now that he's had a knee injury and can't snowboard any more, he's started his own business. He wants one more chance with Tessa but is he finally ready to settle down? Will Tessa give him one more chance? All Tessa wants is a commitment but is Mitch ready to give up the limelight to give them a chance? Only time will tell.

This story is all about love and commitment but it's also about giving up the thing you love most when you know it's for the best. Mitch is afraid if he gives up the limelight he'll be forgotten and he's not sure he wants to do that. Tessa is afraid that if Mitch doesn't stop pulling silly stunts he'll get hurt even worse the next time. She doesn't think that she can be around long enough to see that happen. I have enjoyed every one of Joanne Rock's books thus far and I know that she has more good reads in the future.
