"A heartwarming story of coming home."
Miranda James is a small town girl who made it big by doing
biography videos of interesting people. Her latest
assignment is to interview an old school mate who wrote a
best selling novel. She barely remembers Warren Addison but
knows that he was one of the smartest boys in the class when
they were
growing up. Warren has secretly been in love with Miranda for
years and years but she only had eyes for Chad English. Of
course, Chad dated someone else named Bernie all through
school and finally ended up marrying her. Chad and Miranda
have stayed friends all these years much to the chagrin of
Bernie. Bernie finally gives Chad an ultimatum and kicks
him out of the house. Miranda breezes into town and is shocked to hear that
Chad and Bernie are separated. The problem is that Miranda
feels guilty about her feelings for Chad. She'll never let
him know that she has secretly loved him all these years. When Miranda meets Warren again she can't believe how
much he was in the background during high school. He's a
kind, caring fascinating individual that she'd like to get
to know better and does through her video. Miranda's
biggest problem is her feelings for Chad. Will she put
aside those feelings and see what can happen with Warren or
is she in a rut of unrequited love? This book captured and held my attention from page
one. I am hooked on the Superromances these days and C. J.
Carmichael is a consummate storyteller. Her stories make
you feel as if these are real people and you start to care
about how their story will turn out.

SummaryMiranda James is back in the tiny prairie town of
Chatsworth, Saskatchewan, to work on a video biography of
reclusive writer Warren Addison. While she's there, she
hopes to help her best friend, Chad English, whose wife
has kicked him out of the house. But his wife has always
been jealous of Chad's relationship with Miranda, so maybe
her presence won't really improve the situation. More
important, is fixing their marriage what Miranda really
wants?
Warren Addison went to school with Miranda and Chad. He
knows about Miranda's feelings for her best friend. But
Warren has his own ideas about what's best for this woman.
He hopes he can convince her before Christmas; before a

again.
