"Laugh out loud funny!"
I have always been fascinated by twins and think twins who
switch places must have lots of fun fooling people! So I
just knew I'd have a fun time with this book. I was right! Cary Mitchell is in deep trouble. Not only is he holding
down two jobs, but he can't pay back the loan he took out
to
pay off his bookie and now his boss at his second job wants
him to collect debts for him or break kneecaps. All Cary
knows to do is go to his mirror twin brother, Grant, and
beg him to bail him out of trouble yet again. Grant, or Mitch as he likes to be called, is a cop in
Atlanta
and has always been the 'good' twin. So when Cary comes
calling, what can Mitch do but say he'd help him out. Cary
tells him they'll do the old 'Bait and Switch' deal. The
problem is Cary doesn't tell Mitch the whole story. Peyton McDowell is a blue-blooded Charlestonian who is
Cary's sort-of girlfriend. After he doesn't show up for
dinner to meet her parents, Peyton has decided enough is
enough. When she goes to break up with Cary, it's not Cary
but Mitch. Mitch doesn't know what to do but figures he'll
just try to play along until he finds out what's going on.
This switching places with his twin is harder than he ever
thought. Will they be able to pull it off? The pictures that flashed in my head at some of these
scenes just had me laughing until I cried. I thoroughly
enjoyed this one and highly recommend it! Darlene Gardner
knows how to make you laugh out loud!

SummaryTo save his brother's skin and catch a criminal, Mitch
agrees to switch places with his identical twin. As a cop,
he feels comfortable with the undercover assignment. But
nothing could have prepared him for the gorgeous knockout
on his doorstep.
It isn't just her drop-dead good looks that have him in a
tailspin. The blond bombshell is spitting mad, and Mitch's
course of action is clear: He would have to win back his
brother's girlfriend.
Wooing the funny, smart and caring Peyton is no hardship.
It's keeping his hands to himself that is pure torture. And
it doesn't take a crack detective to realize Mitch has set
a baited trap, but it's his heart that's been ensnared.
Which leaves only one question: Has Peyton fallen for him
or his mirror image?
