REVIEW

"A one sitting read!"

I had never really read any of the Harlequin SuperRomances until this year but now I'm simply hooked on these books. You never know what kind of a story you will get when you pick up one of these delightfully different books!

Not only is Delaney Lawson a thirty year old virgin in the small town of Dundee, Idaho with no prospects in sight but her best friend, Rebecca is getting married and moving to Nebraska. Delaney feels that when Rebecca moves away she'll be alone.

Then one night Rebecca talks Delaney into taking a walk on the wild side. They go to a bar in Boise with the express purpose of picking up a stranger who will unknowingly donate his sperm for Delaney to have her own baby to love. Delaney picks up a handsome dude named Conner and they have the most wonderful night of lovemaking either has ever experienced. The next morning, of course, Delaney is horrified at what she's done and runs away as fast as she can.

Conner Armstrong has been banished to the Podunk town of Dundee, Idaho to see if he can't get his adopted grandfather's ranch running back in the black. His uncles have harassed Conner all of his life due to the circumstances of his birth and Conner has done nothing but try to spend as much money gallivanting and carousing as he can but now it's time to pay for his willfulness.

When Conner comes to town he can't believe that the Delaney he met in Boise is the perfect librarian that everybody loves. At first he thinks that Delaney knew who he was all along and is only after him for his family's money. Can Delaney prove to him otherwise?

This book was a one sitting read for me. I understood Delaney and Conner's positions in this story but I did so want them to get together for their happy ever after. If two people deserved to be happy it was this couple. Kudos to Brenda Novak for an insightful and emotional story that tore at my heartstrings! I look forward to reading Rebecca's story!
