"This one gets your heart pumping!"
Patricia Rasey's e-pubbed book KISS OF DECEIT kept me
riveted to my seat for most of the evening. Her book made my
heart race, my head pound and I bit my fingernails down to
the quick. It started out with a bang and didn't let up
even on the very last page! Marcus "Snake" Gallego has just been arrested for the
murder of his wife, Jillian. She had been a stripper and
had known a lot of guys. Marcus had been heard to have
threatened to strangle her. Then she's found strangled.
LeAnn McVeigh was the detective who arrested Marcus but
something just didn't seem to add up so LeAnn decides to do
a little more investigating. Suddenly there are lots of women being strangled. One had
been strangled when Marcus was in jail so there's no way he
could have done it. LeAnn keeps digging into the murders
much to the chagrin of her fiance, Chad Baker, the
Prosecutor for the town. He wanted an open and shut case.
It's not turning out that way. The more LeAnn digs into the murders, the more clues she
gets. The problem is the clues lead in so many different
directions. Will she ever figure this out and get this case
solved? The exploding conclusion took me completely by surprise! I
thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading
more of Patricia Rasey's work.

SummaryAnother tale of madness, murder, and passion from the newest
queen of suspense.
Marcus "Snake" Gallego lives in the fast lane. Play hard,
ride fast, die young. But nothing seems to touch him, not
until his faithless wife turns up dead, and a pretty little
detective slams his head against a bar, cuffing his hands
behind his back.
LeAnne McVeigh has a murderer to catch and "Snake" is a
prime suspect according to her fiancé, the County
prosecutor. She fights her growing attraction to the biker,
but the pull is too strong to ignore and more than that, he
proves to be her friend in adversity.
