"The secondary characters story is as good as the hero and heroine's story!"
Seth Chandler is the CEO of his own company, for
goodness sakes so how in the world did he get rung up in
participating in the annual Gasparilla festival in Tampa,
Florida? He feels ridiculous dressed up as a pirate with
no shirt and an eye patch. He decides that he'll just grab
a grandmotherly type woman, give her a nice dinner, some
conversation and then take her back. What Seth doesn't count on is Mia Quentin. She
decides to have one weekend to herself for a wild fling
then it's back in the real world of saving her
grandparent's business and trying to keep her mom in Tampa
to help. What Mia doesn't know is that Seth isn't one of
those brief wild fling kind of guys. What Seth doesn't
count on is his instant attraction to Mia. What is it
about her that draws him like a moth to a flame? Seth is a bit of a control freak and this really
cramps Mia's style especially when he starts meddling in
her life and her business affairs. Even though Mia is very
attracted to Seth, somehow she's going to have to teach him
that she can take care of herself and her own problems. I thoroughly enjoyed Seth and Mia's story but I
enjoyed equally as well Mia's mother Noelle and Seth's
uncle Brock's story. They could teach Seth and Mia a thing
or two about life for sure. I eagerly look forward to
Joanne Rock's next book and especially Seth's brother
Jesse's story!
