"A hunky hero and a sassy sexy heroine!"
Carter Sinclair has had it with being a field FBI
undercover agent. He's ready for a nice calm desk job so he
can get on with his life. His boss tells him if he will
take just one more undercover assignment then he'll
consider granting Carter's transfer. Carter reluctantly
agrees but when he finds out he has to go undercover with
fellow agent Tori Lowell to bust a sex resort that is using
secrets to blackmail it's clients, he has second thoughts. Carter had a thing for Tori back when they were at
Quantico but after a few dates, Tori backed off. She felt
the need to follow in her rogue agent father's footsteps
and nothing or nobody would get in the way of her goal.
Tori is disgusted that she's been given nothing but desk
jobs. Yes, it's true that she is the best researcher that
the FBI has but she wants in on a little action out in the
field. If she can just nail this job maybe she'll be given
more field jobs. When she finds out that she's got to work
with Carter, she doesn't know what to do. The biggest
problem is can Tori and Carter work together without
rekindling what they once had? This book was one of those one sitting reads. Tori
and Carter each knew exactly what they wanted to accomplish
but once they started this case their goals got a bit
skewed. They didn't realize that they would start to
develop feelings for each other the more into the case they
got. They each didn't know what was play-acting and what
was real. Julie Kenner has done it again! She has written a
hunky hero and a sassy sexy heroine who make you want to
keep reading their story to the very satisfying end.

SummarySometimes you have to get into bed with the enemy....
That's exactly what FBI agent Tori Lowell is afraid of.
Especially after she learns that her first assignment will
involve going undercover at a sex resort, posing as the
wife of her longtime nemesis, gorgeous Carter Sinclair.
Which wouldn't be so bad, except she's been in Carter's bed
before. And she liked it way too much....
