REVIEW

"Paranormal and romantic suspense!"

I just have to say that Jennifer Archer really needs to write much faster. I want many more books from her! With that said, here's my review.

Best selling true crime novelist J. T. Drake has been getting way too many phone calls from the neighbor about his father, brilliant scientist Herschel Drake. Mrs. Moody is getting downright obnoxious at how she spies on him. Finally J. T. decides that he must come home and see what's going on for himself. He sneaks into his father's laboratory in the middle of the night in a thunderstorm and, in an experiment gone very much awry, turns himself invisible.

Brilliant or not, Herschel has many secrets stemming from an incident that happened thirty years before. Now he's nearly ruined his and his son's lives just waiting for the right time to seek revenge. The first part of his plan involves Roselyn Peabody. Roselyn is helping Herschel to remember and perfect the secret project that he was working on thirty years ago. Little does she know how well the project works until Herschel calls her in the middle of the night with the startling news.

Now it's up to Roselyn and Herschel to figure out how to make J. T. reappear. Even though Roselyn can't see J. T., she sure can feel and smell when he's around. J. T. is equally enamored of Roselyn but thinks she's too much like his father - but you know what they say, "Opposites attract". Will this be the case with Roselyn and J. T.?

This is another one of those one-sitting reads for me. There wasn't anything I didn't like about this truly spectacular book. The characters were fun, the story line was definitely different, and the plot kept me flipping pages. There's not one of Jennifer Archer's books that I haven't enjoyed and this one will go immediately on the keeper shelf!
