"An excellent reincarnation/time travel romance!"
I have always been fascinated by the idea of reincarnation
and the jury is still out as to what I actually believe
about it, but I must admit this is one of the most
intriguing books about reincarnation I've ever read. Domitien loved and lost Isabella and their unborn
child in his first life. Then and there he vowed never to
love again. He is doomed by the Great One to live his life
over and over to learn to love. He's also doomed to kill or
be killed by his mortal enemy, the very man who murdered
Isabella. Dom overhears a conversation in which he finds out
he's to be sent back yet again. He decides to peek at the
scrying glass to find out just what he's in for. Not only
does he see an angel but when he hears her sing, he knows
she must be an angel. Will he finally get it right? Laris has no idea what she's in for but she keeps
dreaming of a man to whom she's drawn. When she sees this
same man walk into the hotel where she is staying, she's
shocked but soon she's on the journey of a lifetime. What
will she find in the end? I must admit that real life intervened while I was
reading this book but I carried it with me everywhere I
went. I read it every chance I got because it simply
fascinated me! The journey that Dom and Laris take through
this book pulled me right in and stayed with me until the
very end. I eagerly look forward to Melanie Jackson's next
book!
