"A fast-moving, well written story"
The first time Jade meets Reed Daniels he hires her to
clean his house and unknowingly becomes the star of her
fantasies. The second time Jade sees him, he is wearing his
birthday suit, and becomes her fantasy come true--almost.
As for Reed, the first meeting is unmemorable and the second
like a dream with a woman he doesn't recognize--only he
knows it was real. He goes in search of this dream woman,
unknowing that when he finds her, not only will his
priorities change, but his whole life. Jade knows that
becoming involved with Reed will risk a broken heart, but
by the time this realization becomes firm, it's too late.
How long will it take for Reed to accept what is happening
to him. Will it be in time to keep him from losing Jade? "Dream Lover" is a fast moving story that gives you action
from the first sentence. There are times when you feel the
heroine is being really unreasonable, but after thinking
about it a bit, you realize she is just, in some cases,
justifiably upset and in others, very wise. As for the
hero, I really liked him and sympathized with his problems
with their relationship. Her friend Janny was a bit of a
jarring note. First she tells Jade not to get involved
with Reed because she could get hurt, then she tells her
that she should marry him even if he doesn't love her.
There was a bit more talking during the actual sex then I
care for and some of it came across as a bit hokey to me,
but that is my personal opinion. Somehow the end left me
feeling like I was missing something and could have done
with another chapter or an epilogue. All in all though, I
found this to be a good, well written story and will be
looking for more books by Ms. Lee. Sensuality--NC17 Hot sex, monogamous, explicit language,
nothing kinky.
