REVIEW

"Excellent paranormal romantic suspense!"

Taren Carpenter knows something was not quite "normal" with his new neighbor, Taneika. He has watched her with her constant companion, Lobo, a full grown wolf, and knows that something is very different. All things considered, he doesn't care what the differences are, he really wants to get to know Taneika better and sets out to do just that. Unwittingly, he drags Taneika into his undercover operation tracking a drug smuggling ring in the middle of Yellowstone National Park.

Takneika knows she was adopted and was found with two wolf cubs in the den of a rogue wolf killed by John Swift Eagle. It's very obvious she has no Indian blood in her veins. Nor does she have a clue just what blood she does carry. She's always been able to communicate with and control the wolves all her life. Little does she know what the future will bring for her, but just once in her life, she wants to enjoy a relationship with someone who doesn't think she's a freak! In college and away from home for the first time, life is proving to be very different for Taneika and Lobo. What will happen when Taren finds out he's in love with the Daughter of the Wolf?

Taneika and Taren work together to stop the drug runners with a little help from "her friends" and find themselves neck deep in love in the Rocky mountains.

I personally loved this paranormal romance! The ending really took me by surprise to say the least, but most of all, I was very enchanted that a man wrote such a moving story. I had thought Leigh Greenwood was the only man who wrote wonderful romance....I was wrong... Rod Casteel is right there too! Not a book to be missed by any romance/paranormal reader! The plot twists, the dialogue, the characters and their interaction with each other and the wolves all flowed together to make a wonderful read!!!
