When Kyra White is publicly dumped yet again by another boyfriend, she's deeply humiliated. She decides enough is enough and will do something about this right away. She and her very best friend in the whole world, Michael go to a bookstore which is a typical thing after she gets dumped and she finds a book called Sex Kitten 101. She buys it deciding that what she needs is a total makeover!

Michael Romero took Kyra under his wing when she made a serious bookkeeping mistake the first week that she went to work for his firm as a bookkeeper. He stood up for her to his partners and she wasn't fired. From then on they were inseparable friends.

So now when Kyra drastically changes her appearance to include cutting and dying her hair, wearing provocative clothing and acting, well, sexy, Michael can't stand it. He has always had deep feelings for Kyra but never acted on those feelings. Now he can't seem to keep his mind or his hands off Kyra.

Kyra loves her new image and has found that horror of horrors, she's attracted to Michael. How can that be when he's her best friend? She knows that if she does act on her feelings that it will be the end of their friendship as it is. Can they keep a relationship and their friendship separate?

This best friends turned lovers book is one of the best I've read. Tori Carrington really knows how to tell a story and knows how to turn up the heat to boiling. Another enjoyable read from the writing team of Tori Carrington!
