"An intriguing time travel!"
Alizon felt as if the medieval village of Markesew
had thrown her away twelve years before as a virgin
sacrifice to the dragon of Devil's Mount. It was just pure
luck that the dragon didn't eat her. Now she saves the
virgins that are made to come up to Devil's Mount for
sacrifice by demanding more and more of the villagers'
sheep. These sheep are what she feeds the dragon. Alizon
has made quite a little cozy place for herself and the
eleven virgins who came after her. All she wants is
revenge on the town who threw her and the other virgins
away. She is very bitter about this and never fails to
remind the virgins that the town really doesn't want them
any longer. All they have is each other. Meanwhile George, a modern day wrestler who goes by
the name of The Saint, is stressed to the max with mothers
threatening to sue him because their sons try his wrestling
moves at home and get seriously hurt. Athena, George's
sister, finds an ancient crystal and decides to try to
hypnotize George into chilling. The trouble is she chills
him too much by sending him to the ancient village of
Markesew to save Alizon from the dreaded dragon. Now the
problem is how George is going to actually accomplish this.
What does he know about killing a dragon, but for Alizon
he'll do anything. What George also doesn't know is Emoni,
Alizon's very best friend, is also casting the same spell
around the same stone in order to save her 12-year-old
daughter from being the virgin who goes in sacrifice to the
mountain. This is how George is pulled back to the medieval
town of Markesew in the first place. I've been a fan of time travel romances for years
and this book exemplifies the very reason why I enjoy them
so much. I was hooked on this book from the very beginning
and avidly devoured it far late into the night in order to
find out exactly what happens to Alizon, George and the
eleven virgins. I'm happy to say that I was sighing with
happiness with the ending to this highly recommended and
quite captivating time travel romance.

SummarySometimes, slaying the dragon is the easy part.
The medieval village of Markesew was besieged, its virgins
demanded in tribute to a filthy dragon, so when St. George
the Dragonslayer arrived from modern times -- in his silver
pants and lace-up boots -- his task was clear. Being a
professional wrestler didn't qualify him for the job, but a
sword and imagination were all he needed... or so he
thought, until he came up against the mysterious mistress
of Devil's Mount.
Twelve years ago Alizon had been sent to die in the jaws of
the serpent. Too tough for dragon teeth then, she'd never
surrender to some foreigner in shiny hose now. She feared
first for the secret world she'd built atop her mountain...
but as St. George approached, Alizon realized it was not
the dragon's armor he had come to pierce, but the scales
around her own ferocious heart.
