REVIEW

"This Blaze is Hot!"

Lisa Neal is in love with Kenneth Harper but she's a career- minded woman and when an opportunity too good to pass up comes along, Lisa jumps at the chance. She doesn't find out until later that the night she decides to take the job that will take her all the way across the country, Ken was going to ask her to marry him.

Five years later, Lisa's career is in the toilet and she has one more chance to make a comeback. This involves crawling to Ken on her hands and knees for the biggest favor of her life. Ken has never gotten over Lisa and decides on a little revenge as a way of paying Lisa back. He tells her he'd grant her the favor IF she will grant him one in return. She knows just what favor he wants too. Is she willing to compromise herself for her career especially when she knows that she's never gotten over Ken either.

I will admit as soon as I realized that Lisa was going to leave Ken for her career, I wasn't sure that Ms. Kenner was going to pull off a happy ending but I am happy to admit that not only did she pull it off but she had me rapidly flipping pages in order to see how she was going to make this happen. Not only that, the sexual tension between Ken and Lisa was so hot, the pages fairly sizzled. Julie Kenner has yet to disappoint in any of her books that I've read thus far and I eagerly look forward to what she will offer in her next book.
