"Romance at it's very best"
This is Deb Stover at her very best! This story has it
all -- action, adventure, mystery and most of all not one
but several romances intertwined in this most amazing
book. Oh and the love scenes just sizzle! Lady Elizabeth Summersby was well and truly seduced
by a rogue named Dirk Ballenger one evening at a masquerade
ball. Now she's paying the price. She just has to get to
Colorado before the baby gets here. She persuades her
Irish maid Molly Riordan to come along. Molly has her own
agenda for coming to Colorado though. Her father Niall went
hunting for gold many years ago and now she's going to see
if she can find out why he never sent for her. When Lady Elizabeth's stagecoach is held up and
she's kidnapped, Molly just has to figure out what she can
do to save her. Unfortunately Molly falls and hits her
head. When she finally comes to, she's married to Dirk
Ballenger because he thinks she's Lady Elizabeth. What a
mess this is turning out to be. What Molly can't
understand is why Dirk felt like he had to kidnap his own
fiancÈ and now is trying to act all innocent. What in the
world is going on and can everything be figured out to
everyone's satisfaction? This book is a must read. I highly recommend that
it be put on your "to be bought" list immediately.
