"Hilarious and Heartwarming"
This is without a doubt one of the most interesting,
funniest and most heartwarming books I've ever read. I
read this book in less than twenty-four hours. That's how
much I enjoyed it. Three best friends are on their way back to their
hometown of Snowden, Maine for the wedding of their mentor,
George Garrison. Each of the men was an orphan that the
town thought wouldn't amount to much when George took them
under his wing and taught them the meaning of love. The
very least they can do is come back for his wedding if they
can make it, since the year's worst blizzard has literally
closed the whole northeastern part of the United States.
It's a good thing the Santa Brigade can pick them each up
so they will be sure to make it to the wedding. Samuel ėSlick' Merrick is a pilot for the Blue
Angels. He hasn't been back to Snowden since he left and
he's not really sure he really wants to go back now. What
if he runs into Reba, the love of his life he left
behind? Kevin ėJD' (short for Juvenile Delinquent) Wilder
is a Private Investigator in New York. He also hunts
bounties on the side as gravy money. He's on the trail of
a bounty on the way to the wedding. When he finds out that
Callie Brandt is his bounty he doesn't know what to think
but he'd sure like to know her story! Stan Kijewski is an ex-football player. He had to
retire from playing football when someone decided to slam
into his car and injure his shoulder and hip. He's doing
okay though because he's been playing the stock market and
has amassed quite a bit of change. George has asked Stan
for one favor and that is to pick up one of his orphans so
she can come to the wedding. What Stan doesn't know is Dana
has been a fan of his for years now. Add a kooky bunch of senior citizens on a red bus
called the Santa Brigade and lead by Reba (the very one
that Sam still dreams about) to the mix and you have a
combination of characters in a book that once you pick it
up, you'll not be able to put it down. You never know
what's going to happen next. I was howling with laughter
one minute and in tears the next. I highly recommend this
spectacular book.

SummaryThe three bad-boy bachelors of Snowdon, Maine, have to make
it to the church on time, or die trying. Due at a friend's
wedding on Christmas Eve, the Fearsome Threesome find
themselves dashing through the snow in the goofiest bus on
Earth--a bright red vehicle filled with a bunch of senior
citizens known as The Santa Brigade. Ho, ho, ho! Decked out
in red and serving up holiday cheer to the masses, a Blue
Angels pilot, a bounty hunter, and a former pro football
player discover 'tis the season for folly as each trips
over his heart to capture the love of the one special woman
for him. And who is to say what they'll find nestled in
their beds as the stockings are stuffed and the gifts
placed under the tree.
