As graceful as the wings of the Icarii, Ms. Douglass has penned a fantasy of such epic beauty, the words transform in magical vision to play in vivid scenes across your mind.

Axis will astound you, beguile you. His adventure, his battle, and the paths his heart leads him on will hold you tranfixed, unable, unwilling to tear yourself from his grip.

ENCHANTER is one of the most gripping, spellbinding fantasy novels I have yet to read. If you haven't yet stood transfixed, your mind captured by this brave man's battle, then now is the time. As the Prophecy unfolds, and Axis moves steadily closer to its fulfillment, you don't want to miss a moment of the adventure, the sheer exhiliration of fighting at his side as he braves his way through the unknown and fights to rebuilt a land torn asunder, a destiny and a life unlike all others.
