REVIEW

"Steamy and intense!!"

On the verge of bankruptcy, Danielle d'Alboa turns to billionaire Rafael Valdez for help as a last resort. As the landlord of her penthouse and luxury boutique, Danielle hopes Rafe will grant her an extention so that she and her mother can have another chance to save their business. Though she's met Rafe before and she's still affected by his goregous looks and sensual charm, Danielle is very wary of him. Her simple plea for assistance goes awry when Rafe deftly names his price in exchange for the favor and leaves Danielle with little choice but to agree.

Rafael Valdez has been waiting for this moment for a long time. When Danielle turns to him for help, he agrees to take care of the debts and help her floundering boutique in return for marriage and an heir. A hard man with a chequered past, Rafe has lust in mind but it isn't long before the rules of the game change for both of them...

THE WEDDING ULTIMATUM proves to be another scintillating romance presented by superb storyteller Helen Bianchin.

Deft characterization and a plot that simply sizzles with sensual steamy chemistry and truckloads of passion, THE WEDDING ULTIMATUM will thrill the senses and excite the imagination. Ms. Bianchin's wonderful talent for creating intense, rich, unforgettable characters is once again evident as the reader learns more about Rafe and Danielle.

The secondary characters are excellently portrayed and go a long way in adding depth to the story. Okay, okay... I admit, there were a few (ha! - understatement) instances when I wanted leap into the book and smack Cristina, the sexy blonde siren, silly for being so 'good' at her role of troublemaker... but I restrained myself. Barely.

Rafe's protectiveness and intense passion for Danielle stole my breath and of course his sensually brooding personality and sinful, wicked good looks had me totally captivated. Danielle's streak for independence from Rafe and reasons for wanting to handle things on her own was something most women could identify with. I really enjoyed reading about the life the couple led, how they fit in around each other and of course, the sexual chemistry in the bedroom was delightfully steamy too.

Harlequin Presents readers will consider themselves lucky to have a chance read Helen Bianchin's latest release. It's intriguing, intense and definitely leaves a lasting impression. THE WEDDING ULTIMATUM is highly recommended!
