"A romance to be savored!"
If you read Leanne Bank's previous Silhouette Desire
release, ROYAL DAD, you've already met one of the dashing
Royal Dumonts. If Prince Michel of Marceau left you
breathless with lust, his brother Nicholas, who you may
remember as 'Dr. Nick', is definitely going to have you
drooling! Prince Nicholas is a doctor by profession. It's a career
he had to work very hard to excel at, purely because his
mother, the Queen, was dead set against it. It's only
thanks to Michel's quiet and skillful handling of the
situation that the Queen mellowed. Hence, everyone knows
medicine is Nicholas' first love, and perhaps his only
love. He's happy with his life exactly as it is. He's not
interested in marriage, nor does he have time for it. The Queen, however, definitely has marriage in mind and
she's determined to see her 'doctor son' settled. She's
paraded several princesses and heiresses before him but
none have caught his eye -- until he meets Tara York, a
shy, quiet, clumsy, plain looking, most hideously dressed
heiress. Suddenly, it's not so tedious sitting through
another 'matchmaking' dinner organized by his mother. In
fact, Nicholas is quite definitely intrigued by the
billionaire's daughter and before long, he decides the best
way to avoid marriage is to get engaged! Lacking an interest in getting married, Tara York has
learnt to hide behind ugly dresses and thick unflattering
eye glasses she doesn't really need. She's also perfected
down to a fine art the illusion of appearing boring. It's
the only way to keep the fortune hunters at bay - men who
want her only because of her father's money or because of
what her father can do for them. Upon her arrival in Marceau to meet Prince Nicholas,
marriage Prospect Number Eight, she's determined to spend
as much time as possible holed up in her room in order to
avoid him, and make serious progress with her own secret
project. Things don't quite go the way she hopes because
one look at Tara and Nicholas becomes suspicious of the
game she's playing. He convinces her to play a slightly
different game which will help ease the marriage pressure
off both of them... but before it's over, will they both
end up losing their hearts? With her usual aplomb, beautifully talented romance author
Leanne Banks brings her fans a new story to savor and
another gorgeous hero to fall in love with. Nicholas and Tara are rich, intriguing characters who charm
the reader from the first moment. It was easy to fall
under the spell of the Doctor Prince. All the characters
in this wonderful romance are full of warmth and definitely
colorful, pulling the reader deep into their world quite
easily. Watching Nicholas discover Tara's beauty hidden
behind those ugly dresses was loads of fun. I really enjoy
stories like this one. The intriguing plot is tightly
woven with intense sexual chemistry and the friendship that
develops between Nicholas and Tara is beautifully
portrayed. Leanne Banks' HIS MAJESTY, M.D. is a romance readers of
Silhouette Desire will want to savor and enjoy over and
over again!

"Being engaged is the perfect way to avoid being married." -
- Prince
Nicholas Dumont
Prince Nicholas's royal relations were forever trying to
marry him off to
this princess or that heiress. But their latest choice --
a shy, awkward
American billionaire's daughter, more interested in
computers than men -- was
a disaster. And that made her the perfect "fiancee"...
A fake engagement to this "ugly duckling" would let him
return to his first
love -- medicine-- and would surely never go anywhere.
Except... Tara York
was turning into a swan -- a confident, sensual, extremely
desirable woman --
before his very eyes. And suddently he was aching to truly
make her his
princess...
