REVIEW

"A deeply moving tale of love and danger"

Charity Starr has hidden the psychic power she was blessed with at birth. Denying it, fighting it, until the time comes that she can fight no longer.

As a scientist, her research into harnessing the vast reaches of solar power has drawn the attention of the wrong people, and the kidnapping attempts on her are increasing. During one such attempt to kidnap her, and the information she carries, her enemies are sent scurrying by security specialist Hawk Adams.

Hawk's strength, passion, and his own psychic bond with Charity will draw them deeper into the passions raging between them, even as the danger begins to draw closer to her.

Charity fears the strength of her gifts when she's in Hawk's arms, and her inability to hide from the empathetic power she possess. As Charity's research progresses, and betrayal comes with increasingly regularity, she's forced to admit her need for Hawk's protection and his warmth. But nothing can halt the plans against her, and as her enemies move steadily closer, the love binding them will intensify, and strengthen the power she will need to save not just herself, but Hawk as well.

TEARS OF THE HAWK will keep you turning page after page, drawn into the murky depths of a shadowed plot of revenge and greed even as Charity and Hawk are drawn closer together in their need for each other. Ms. Clark has blended Earth magic, and passion to create a deeply moving tale of love and danger.

Will Hawk succeed in saving the woman he's waited a lifetime to hold? Or will Charity's stubbornness, and her inability to accept the gifts she's been given be their ultimate downfall?

A definite thumbs up for the heat and passion that fill the pages of this book, and a story that will warm your heart long after you've lain it down again.

Despite the feeling of being rushed through many of the scenes, Ms. Clark has still yet managed to hold true to her characters, and to keep them on a steady course that leads them through love, danger, and an awakening of the powers held by both Charity, and Hawk as their hearts and souls awaken to each other, and bond in a way that neither will ever be free of.
