REVIEW

"Delightful morality tale that includes a sizzling romance"

With just over a week before her marriage, Dulcy Farris has a few drinks too many at her pre-nuptial party. In vino veritas, Dulcy admits to her friends that her forbidden fantasy is to make love to a stranger in an elevator.

Quinn Landis arrives at the same bar where he meets an inebriated Dulcy. The temperature of the room rises to equatorial levels as Quinn and Dulcy are attracted to one another. Quinn persuades Dulcy to accompany him, which the intoxicated future bride does. He lifts her to the levels of her dream fantasy when they make love. He feels his greatest fantasy has also been met by the most incredible evening of his life. Still expecting a one-night stand, both are mortified when they learn that he is the best man at her wedding. Making matters even more complicated is that the groom has vanished without a trace.

Though A STRANGER'S TOUCH is the typical heat expected from Tori Carrington, the tale also blends in a quandary confronting the lead couple. Each wants the other and knows they are perfect in bed and probably compatible outside the boudoir and elevator, but both believe the missing groom deserves their loyalty. The concept of this type of triangle has been often used as a plot device in novels and movies, but the emphasis is on principles as the key to this tale. Fans will appreciate that the author interweaves the values into the plot while leaving the audience to decide right from wrong. This is a blazing triumph of torrid temperatures inside a morality play.

Summary

Midnight Fantasy #6
The thrill of the forbidden

Dulcy Ferris has always had an active fantasy life -- but fantasy has never come close to reality until she finds herself alone in an elevator with oh-so-sexy Quinn Landis. There's just one problem: Dulcy's engaged to marry somebody else. But before she commits herself to a passionless marriage, she can't resist indulging in her most secret fantasy just once.

Quinn Landis can't believe his luck. Home for the wedding of his best friend, he's delighted when a gorgeous woman falls into his lap -- and then jumps into his bed! But the next morning brings a few surprises. His friend, Brad, has disappeared -- and Quinn's just slept with Brad's bride-to- be! Worse, he wants to again -- and again! But first Quinn has to find Brad. Only then can he prove to Dulcy that he's the best man -- in every sense.
