REVIEW

"Will leave your head spinning and your heart stirring"

Sherrilyn Kenyon's FANTASY LOVER is a wonderful book to curl up with on a quiet Sunday afternoon, IMHO. It's a fast- paced read that left my head spinning and my heart stirring with a wonderfully romantic couple, Julian & Grace, and a delightful supporting cast of gods, goddesses, and best friends.

The lightheartedness of the plot gives way to a rich, interesting and heartbreaking story of love and loss, which I did enjoyed very much. I must say that I can personally identify with the emotional loss that the heroine had for her parents and why she seemed to be wanting to preserve their memories in such a physical way. When a force from outside attempted to destroy what she held dear, the hero, Julian, tenderly and lovingly pulled her through. That, to me, was also a turning point in the couple's relationship to one another.

On a lighter note, the humor of a demi-god in modern day New Orleans is both sexy and funny at the same time. Also, it's nice to know that the Gods are just a shout away, so keep a watchful eye out for that biker-dude at the local mall ...it might be Eros, after all. ;)

This is the first book I've read by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I will definitely be looking forward to more works from her in the near future!
