"A bet gone bad...."
Billy Piper was in his late teens when he took a bet, a
bad
bet as it turned out, and agreed to try to ride a wild
horse named Black Iodine. When the dust settled, the kid
was carried out of the arena on a blanket. Although many residents of Salt Springs that day
thought the kid would probably die, he didn't. Now, some
of
them kind of wish Billy had passed over. Why? Because now
he is back in town and has a few scores to settle with the
folks who set him up for that disastrous ride on the
bronco. The story of two men's deep friendship, of a murder and a
fight for justice, "A Cold Place in Hell" has all the
elements of a classic western. A two time Emmy Award
winner, William Blinn helped bring "Gunsmoke", "Rawhide",
and "Bonanza" to the television screen. When you sign on
to
ride with this hombre you're in for an authentic, shoot'em
up, cowboy epic.
