"Babysitting an actress is no fun...."
A series of inexplicable "mishaps" have plagued the
set of a new TV show. Fearing for the safety of their
young
female lead, Selene Waiters, the production company has
hired Tess Monaghan to keep an eye on the actress.
Not the most accommodating of individuals, Selene can be a
super pain in the neck and she's not as naïve as most
people think. The discovery of a corpse with pictures of Selene
scattered around the body makes for not only a PR
nightmare
but it is also a sticky situation for the TV show's
creator. This may not only jeopardize the girl's budding
career but derail the launch of the "Mann of Steel" series. Although she isn't very adept at babysitting a
somewhat devious starlet, Tess is more than able to handle
a murder investigation. The only problem here is that in
this world of make believe it becomes exceedingly
difficult
to separate facts from fiction. If the comely P.I. is
unable to see
behind the thespians' masks and decipher the clues in a
timely fashion more deaths will follow. Although a bit of an irritant, you'll probably
quickly be able to ignore this novel's small print. After
a chapter or two you'll be so "into" the story you'll
forget the fact that you may be squinting!
