REVIEW

"Another historical hottie!"

Lily Cromwell aka "Klondike Lily" is on her way to Alaska when her coach is robbed. She is the richest woman in the Yukon territory and her gold is taken by the Maddock gang. Lily,of course, is upset but her biggest concern is how she will now get to Alaska. She is searching for her sister and wants to make sure that she is safe . Money isn't everything to Lily because she came from meager beginnnings and spent much of her young life as a servant. Only a gold strike has given her a way out of her poverty.

The Maddock gang leave Lily chained together with Dylan Wayburn, a man she knows from her past. She had worked for Dylan's affluent family, but it seems that Dylan has changed. She sees him as a penniless drifter who drinks too much. However, Dylan is an undercover Mountie who is trying to track down criminals of these crimes. He doesn't want to tell Lily who he really is because he thinks she may blow his cover.

Dylan aides Lily and they escape and continue to travel together under the guise of a married couple. However, both are reluctant to share their reasons for where they are really going. But, traveling together in close proximity has brought their defenses down and Lily and Dylan began to fall in love. Through tough times and even rougher country these two prove that they are soul mates.

No one writes a more vivid picture of history than Kate Bridges. Her detailed backdrop, life like characters and sizzling romance show off her talent in KLONDIKE FEVER. I also adore her secondary characters and their quirky personalities. Fever is perfect for this title as you will be sure to get lovesick over Dylan!
