"Good for a laugh"
What is a Vampire Queen to do when the honeymoon is over? Newly married vampire queen Betsy Taylor sets up house
complete with rogue angry fiends who are bent on revenge
for their mistreatment, a dead step-monster who is as
annoying in death as she was in life and a police
detective
that is as drawn to Betsy's best friend as he is
determined
to kill Betsy. Basically it is a normal day in the life
of
Betsy Taylor. Mary Janice Davidson's latest installment in the Undead
series keeps up the humor and pacing of her previous
books. Betsy's character is beginning to come into her
own
as the reluctant Vampire Queen and is just as determined
to
unite her queendom under not quite so archaic guidelines.
Old characters come back and loose ends that have been
dangling since book one are finally being tied up. MJD
does
a great job of pulling the reader into this book with
quick
wit, fast action and sarcastic humor.
