Jillian Hennessy is a private investigator who has
been in and around her Uncle Mick's business since she was
a young girl. Now her older brother Patrick has retired
from the police force and is back and ready to take over
Hennessy Group, a job that Jillian has trained for all her
life. Jillian takes over the investigation of Stanley
Davidson, a man whom it is believed faked an injury by
police and won a several million-dollar lawsuit. She
believes this will turn Uncle Mick's decision around. Jillian's team of crack electricians wire Stanley's
house while he's away but when she turns on her equipment,
it's not Stanley she's watching, it's her sexy neighbor
Cade Lawrence. Jillian knows that she shouldn't be
watching but he's so buff that she simply cannot take her
eyes off of him. Then Jillian's best friend
Elise "accidentally" puts a welcome basket meant for
Jillian on Cade's porch. Cade brings the basket over to
Jillian and the minute they each lay eyes on the other, the
sparks start flying. BUT Cade is not what he seems
either. He is an undercover cop and he, too, is
investigating Stanley Davidson. What will Jillian and Cade
do when they find out what the other really does? In the
meantime, what will they do about this attraction that they
cannot seem to deny? Julie Elizabeth Leto's books just get hotter and
hotter. Just the fact of having someone watching you in
your every day routine when you don't even know it is
titillating enough but while Jillian is watching Cade, she
wonders what would happen if the circumstances were the
other way around. I devoured this book in a matter of
hours as I simply couldn't put it down.
