"An excellent Christmas story"
Kayleen James has come to El Deharia to teach at the small
orphanage school. She especially is concerned about the
welfare of three orphan girls who are half American. The
village leader wants to take them to his village and make
them slaves. She will do all she can to prevent that from
happening. Then Prince As'ad of El. Deharia comes into the picture at
the insistence of his aunt who tells him he must do
something. He decides to adopt the three little girls but
only on the condition that Kayleen come to the palace with
them to be their nanny. Kayleen agrees but what has she
gotten herself into? Kayleen and the three girls are overwhelmed by the
grandeur and opulence of As'ad's palace and his servants.
Can they get used to this without becoming too spoiled by
it all? As Kayleen and As'ad spend more time together and
with the girls, they feel as if they are a family but this
isn't right because Kayleen is only the nanny. She cannot get
too close to As'ad. Can As'ad convince her otherwise? That
remains to be seen. I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book. It was
heartwarming to see how Kayleen and even As'ad tried to
give these girls who missed their parents a loving home. I
look forward to reading about As'ad's brothers and what
Susan Mallery will come up with for their stories.

Suddenly As'ad was a single father in desperate need of a
nanny, and Kayleen was the only woman for the job. Soon the
palace was in an uproarall because of the spirited

until Kayleen showed the honor-bound sheik what he'd been
