"Another addition to the wonderful Heart saga!"
Robin D. Owens Heart books are like fine chocolate. I am
compelled to go back for just one more over and over again.
When I open a Heart book by Robin, I know that the read
will not only live up to my every expectation of an
excellent book but will far surpass my greatest
expectations. I've yet to be disappointed in this regard! This book is Dufleur Thyme's story. As readers may recall
in the last book Dufleur barely escaped a horrible death.
Just before she was abducted she discovered her
HeartMate's gift which she refused to even deal with.
Dufleur does not want nor does she need a HeartMate. Saille T'Willow, unbeknownst to Dufleur had to send his
Heart Gift out into the city because his MotherDam hid his
HeartMate from him. He is thrilled that this worked even
though it caused him great pain to have to do this. Now if
he can only convince Dufleur that accepting his Heart Gift
is the right thing to do. Dufleur and Saille have a long road to travel full of
dangers and secrets before either of them can accept that
they truly are HeartMates. Oh my, what a story this was. I so thoroughly enjoyed each
and every word. My only regret is leaving the Celtan
world yet again. I am totally entranced with the Celtan
world that Robin D. Owens has created. The characters are
colorful and the fams always try to steal the story and
make it their own. I try so hard to savor these books but
they are just too enjoyable for me not to read them in a
matter of hours. As always, I eagerly await each and every
one of these Heart books.
