"An excellent young adult paranormal!"
I've been a fan of Julie Kenner's for years now and since
I have teenaged daughters I knew I just had to check out
her Young Adult Vampire book. What a total hoot this book
is. She has teenage girls down to a science and believe me
I know! Beth Frasier only wants to get some extracurricular
activity to put on her transcript so she is eligible for a
scholarship. She has the grades no problem. After all she
is only in competition for the valedictorian of her class
with one other person and that's Clayton Greene. She's bummed to find out that she didn't make the step
team but when head cheerleader Tamara tells Beth that she
wants her for the cheerleading squad, Beth know something
is way wrong. Tamara tells Beth to meet the squad on the
football field that evening. Beth never would have gone
if she'd known what was going to happen. Basically she
woke up dead and extremely angry. Now she's out for
revenge. Woe be unto Stephen Wills, the hunky guy who did
this to her. If you are a young adult and are into vampires, this is
definitely the book for you. Shoot, I'm not a young adult
and I totally enjoyed this kicky book. I only had one
problem and that is I'm just so impatient for the next
book in the series!!! I'll be recommending this one to my
daughter who also has a love of reading good books!

SummaryThe bestselling author of Carpe Demon takes a bite out of
high school in this bloodsucking blast.
Elizabeth Frasier's ticked off. Her junior year of high
school was going just fine. But thanks to a bunch of jerkwad
vampire jocks, she ended up undead, and with a thirst that a
thousand Diet Cokes couldn't quench. Now she's out for
bloodand revenge. And she knows exactly what to
do...Elizabeth's read Salem's Lot. Separate the good
vamps from the bad and wipe out the crowd that did her in.
On top of that, she's got to figure out how to be mortal
againunless universities start accepting dead girls.
