"Dante's Story! Oh My!"

We first meet Dante in KISS OF MIDNIGHT, the first book in the Breed series. The wonderful thing about this series is this book is totally stand alone but I know I do not want to miss one page of this fabulous new series!! Dante lives for one thing and one thing only, to take out Rogues. He is a Breed warrior in every sense of the word. That is until he meets a new type of vampire. Young vampires hopped up on Crimson, a supposedly recreational drug that makes them bloodthirsty, ravening animals who don't care who they attack and who sees them attacking.

After a run-in with one of these youngsters, Dante stumbles into Tess Culver's veterinarian clinic more dead than alive. He finds Tess there working late and takes her blood in order to heal his wounds. It isn't until she sedates him and as he is succumbing, he notices her breedmate mark on her hand. What has he done?

But things just get more complicated. Dante has to try to explain things to Tess and to keep her safe but how can he do that without her thinking him totally crazy. On top of that, he still has to find out who is manufacturing Crimson and handing it out to the young vampires turning them into Rogues. The Order also has a Darkhaven snob demanding that they help find some young vampires who have disappeared.

Lara Adrian's Breeds just get more and more intriguing. I for one am totally immersed in this series as I'm sure there is more background I can learn in each and every succeeding book. There is one Breed whose story I believe will be the most captivating of all and that is Tegan's story. I'm counting on Lara Adrian to do justice to Tegan's story! I just hope I won't have too long to wait!!
