"Jared and Kiera's story!"
I simply loved Your Planet or Mine?, which was Jana and
Cavin's story and was avidly waiting for Jared's story.
Boy, was I thrilled to my toes when I was able to get my
hands on a copy to review it! I had one problem with this
story and that was I read it much too quickly. It was
just so good that I couldn't put it down for anything! Jared is extremely bummed that his grandfather has died
and he feels as if he let him down when he decided not to
go into politics. It just wasn't Jared's cup of tea.
Jared and his younger sister Evie decide to go to town to
Starbucks for a much needed cup of coffee when they decide
to go four-wheeling. That's where they come across the
REEF's abandoned space ship. It's not in Jasper to just
leave it alone for Cavin to take a look at. He decides he
must check it out immediately. He opens the hatch and
climbs in. When he puts his hand on the control, a window
pops up to a room in a far away galaxy to a beautiful
nearly naked woman who demands Jared to tell her who he is
and how he came to be in her bedroom on her
telecommunication device. Jared can't believe the feisty
demanding witch and tells her he is the Prince of Earth.
This is just the beginning to his downfall. The next thing Jared knows is that he is told he will
become betrothed to the Kiera, queen of the galaxy in a
linked ceremony between her planet and Earth. He thinks
okay...long engagement. What Jared doesn't know is that
when he takes control of the ceremony, Kiera turns it
around and repeats the wedding ceremony so the next thing
Jared knows is he's married to this haughty queen. Now
what? I loved this story. I believe that Jared got just what he
needed in Kiera and in turn Kiera needed Jared more than
she knew. My hope is that we get Evie's story very soon
now!
