REVIEW

"A suspenseful story!"

E. C. Sheedy writes wonderful romantic suspense. This one was an 'edge of your seat' book which is my favorite type of romantic suspense to read!

Actually there are several stories all in one about three friends who are all going through some sort of difficulty or another. Camryn Bruce comes home to her husband packing his bags and telling her that he can't live with her anymore. She is more obsessed with trying to have a child than with having a marriage any more.

Then Camryn finds out that her best friend since childhood, Holly Lambert has been brutally murdered. She also finds out that Holly has decided that Camryn needs to be her daughter, Kylie's guardian. Dan Lambert may not be Kylie's biological dad but he's the only dad that she's ever known. He won't give her up without a fight. Also Holly's dad and step-mother are going to fight Camryn tooth and nail for Kylie and have the money to do so. The lawyers deemed that Camryn truly is Kylie's guardian. Camryn will do anything to keep custody of Kylie.

What they would like to know is who killed Holly in the first place. Was it Adam Dunn? Adam dated Camryn first and then he moved on to Gina but it was always Holly for him. He was just not the type to settle down even when Holly got pregnant with Kylie. Now Adam's back but for what reason?

This book ended with a bang! I was totally surprised with the entire last chapter! I thoroughly enjoyed this fabulously suspenseful book and look forward to another from E. C. Sheedy.
