"Scott and Hope's story, oh my!"
I know I for one eagerly await each and every Parallel
story! This one is Scott and Hope's story. Hope saved
Scott's life in the last story and Scott brought her back
to their base with the warning that she was not to
communicate with anyone, not even her twin brother Chris.
Hope agrees because she knows there is more to Scott and
she wants to get closer to him. Besides she has vivid
dreams about Scott and their future together, dreams she
just doesn't understand at all. She wants to try to get to
the bottom of it all. Then a strange twist comes along in the form of one Jake
Tierney and all Hope knows is that in one of her vivid
dreams, Scott tells Hope when she meets Jake Tierney to
trust him and to go with him. The only problem is in real
life Scott knows no one by that name and why should he
tell his beloved Hope to go with someone? Hope finds out that at the base they can not only cure her
blindness but they can also cure her diabetes. She wants
to go through with the procedure but Scott is very
reluctant because he too has had vivid dreams and is
worried that something will go horribly wrong with the
procedure. He can't tell Hope why he feels this way
because he thinks she will believe he is off his rocker
and he's worried that he may be going off the deep end. I was on the edge of my chair with each and every turn of
the page with this one. I hate that it ended because now
I want more of the story. Each book becomes more and more
fascinating and raises more questions. It is my fervent
hope that talented Deidre Knight has many more Parallel
stories coming!
