"An excellent GhostWalker addition!"
I am so hooked on the GhostWalker series. I've avidly
devoured each and every story and eagerly await the next
one! This one is Raoul "Gator" Fontenot's story. Even though
he is a GhostWalker he still keeps close ties to his
family and friends in Louisiana. When his grandmother asks
him to investigate the disappearance of the daughter of a
close family friend, he knows he must do it. Before he
leaves Lily asks him to try and see if he can put his
finger on where Flame may have disappeared to. Gator knows
it is a losing battle but he promises he will do what he
can. Gator can't believe that he actually discovers that Flame
is loosely involved with the young woman who disappeared.
She is like he is and can manipulate sound. He discovers
that she too is trying to figure out where the woman
disappeared to and whether she is still alive or not.
Gator's problem is trying to get close to Flame when she
doesn't want to be gotten close to. This will be the real
challenge. Still he refuses to give up. Wow, what a story! I was glued to my seat throughout the
entire book. Ms. Feehan keeps throwing tidbits out about
where the series is going and I'm so totally there! I can
barely wait for the next story.
