"Another incredible read from the talented Dee Davis"

Simone Cooper Sheridan thought she was finally able to have a normal life but her soon to be ex-husband Reece just couldn't deal with the secrecy. Still Simone is close to Martin, her brother-in-law. Then Simone gets a card that is written in code in the mail telling her that it's time. She just can't tell anybody what it's time for. She just knows she has to go.

Then as Simone is leaving her house, a sniper tries to kill her and does wound Martin. Simone is furious and the only way they get away is with Reece's prize boat. When Reece goes by the house, he can't figure out what happened and why do the local police think he had anything to do with Simone and Martin's disappearance. Reece is a lawyer, for heavens sakes. What reason would he have to their disappearance?

All Simone wants to do is to keep her family safe and she will do whatever it takes. The problem is now Martin and Reece are involved. How much can she tell them about her former life and how far can they go to stay safe? Only time will tell.

I'm a huge fan of Dee Davis' romantic suspense. They satisfy my craving for a good read on all levels. My biggest problem with Ms. Davis' books is that I read them much too quickly because I am on pins and needles to see how the story will end. I say this is a good problem indeed! I highly recommend this and all of Dee Davis' incredible books!
