"An excellent paranormal anthology!"
I love a good anthology but this one has all of the
elements that I just love to read about. As a matter of
fact, after reading this particular anthology, I wanted to
move immediately to Mysteria. It sounds like a fun town to
not only live in but also to visit! The first story is Mortal in Mysteria by Susan
Grant. Harmony Faithfull is the new pastor in town.
Everybody is friendly but nobody wants to come to her
services. Then Demon...I mean Damon shows up. Can he help
Harmony get her flock under control before her family
comes to visit? MaryJanice Davidson gives us the second story Alone
Wolf about Cole Jones who is a werewolf raised by
humans. He is sent to Mysteria to try to find out about
his real family. There he buys a haunted house and meets
the realtor Charlene Houtenan who seems a little
enthusiastic about Cole to say the least but this is
Mysteria... In Gena Showalter's The Witches of Mysteria and the
Dead Who Love Them we get Genevieve Tawdry's story.
Genevieve is one of three witch sisters who has a thing
for Hunter, owner of the local bar but every time she gets
near Hunter, he runs away faster than a speeding bullet.
What is up with that? What can Genevieve do about it? P. C. Cast tells us the story of Candy Cox in Candy Cox
and the Big Bag (Were) Wolf. Candace is the local high
school teacher and is a mortal. She has many friends in
Mysteria though and they don't hold her mortality against
her. Her friend Godiva Tawdry (Genevieve's sister) tells
Candy she really needs to find a werewolf. When Candy
meets Justin Woods, not only is he a werewolf but he was
one of her students in high school so he's younger that
she is. There's no way she can be attracted to him or is
there? I had such fun reading this book. I really didn't want
these stories to end. I loved the town of Mysteria and
hope these authors see fit to visit the towns people of
Mysteria again!

SummaryHunky werewolves, delicious demons and, drop-dead sexy
witches all have the same address...
Hundreds of years ago, in the mountains of Colorado (just
close enough to Denver for great shoe shopping), the small
town of Mysteria was "accidentally" founded by a random act
of demonic kindness. Over time, it has become a veritable
magnet for the supernaturala place where magic has
quietly coexisted with the mundane world.
It's a town like any other town, where the high school's
Fighting Fairies give fans something to cheer about, where
everyone knows your nameif not exactly what you
areat the local bar, and where the wishing well
actually lives up to its name.
Strange occurrences happen every day, but now the ladies of
Mysteria are about to unleash a tempest of seduction that
will have tongues wagging for centuries to come...
