"Wow! I'm thoroughly impressed!"

I'm a sucker for a handsome alien and Jared aka Jareshk Bennet is not only that but he is an exiled King to boot! Jared and Kelsey Wells meet when they are both teenagers and Jared is on earth against the wishes of his Councilors. He is about to go through the Refarian change for the first time and is very impetuous. He could be in danger.

Councilor Aldorsk only wants to find Jareshk soon and when he does, he's with an Earth girl. Councilor Aldorsk wipes Kelsey's and Jareshk's minds of each other's memories but somehow something remains.

Years, later Jared is back on earth with a contingent of his followers after his parents were murdered and he was exiled from his home planet when he is shot down over Mirror Lake. He is injured and has to change when he comes across Kelsey Wells standing by the lake. He bonds with her and gives her vital information in case he is caught.

This is just the beginning of this amazing story. There wasn't one thing about this book that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The characters were varied and intriguing. The story was extraordinary but the best news was that there will be another story. I know I will be first in line to read PARALLEL HEAT!
