REVIEW

"Fast paced page turner that has it all."

Anita Blake, animator of zombies is back in action at last! Micah is a return to the action we come to love and look forward to in the first books of this series. Anita is ask to take over a zombie raising for a co-worker. She takes Micah along with her, not realizing that this will be the first time she has been all alone with just him. Micah is not unaware of this fact and sets out to make it a special time for him and Anita. He changes their room from a local motel to a expensive suite at an upscale hotel. A change that puts Anita on edge about just what Micah is going to expect from her and in the process saves their lives. Unknown to them a hit man has been sent to kill them at the motel. Someone doesn't want the zombie raised. As the story moves along we come to learn more about how Micah became a were leopard and about his family. One of the Agents meeting Anita and Micah for the zombie raising is the agent that was there when Micah was first attacked and questioned him. This is a book that will keep you turning the pages and then wishing for more when it's done. For all the readers that have missed the zombie raising and the magic this book will go along way to helping. For those of us that miss the vampire killer fight scenes, I guess we will just have to wait and see. But for now, we have Micah. Welcome back Anita, we have missed you.

First Time in Print

Summary

"RAISING THE DEAD IS EASY. LOVE IS HARD..."

There are lots of reasons to raise the dead—some private, some public. In this case, the feds have a witness who died before he could speak on the record. They want him raised so his testimony can be taken. So here I am, on a plane to Philadelphia, flying off to do my job.

But I'm not alone. Micah is with me. Micah, head of the St. Louis wereleopard pard. King to my Queen. The only one of my lovers who can stir my blood with just a glance from his chartreuse cat's eyes. I was happy to have him at my side.

Until he mentioned that this will be our first time alone together. No Master Vampire. No Alpha Werewolf. Just me and Micah. And all my fears and doubts...
