"An excellent read!"
Stewart Rio may be attracted to Kansas aka Sass
Hawthorne but he really doesn't have time for this trained
thief. Besides she is FBI and he is with the ANSIR squad.
These two departments have been enemies for years and each
tries to get the better of the other all the time. What Stewart and Kansas can't believe is that her
boss and his boss have thrown them together to help solve
a case and they have to pretend to be married of all
things. They will never survive each other but they are
the best chance to crack the case. It seems they need to steal a nuclear trigger and
put a dummy one in it's place. The problem is they have
to travel to an island off the coast of South Carolina
where they have to convince Dawson, one very evil man, who
they say they are and that they are there seriously
contending for the auction for the trigger and other
things. What they don't anticipate is the major attraction
they have for each other and that they are seriously
enjoying their play acting a little too much. Hopefully
this won't get them in too much trouble or will it? Nina Bruhns never fails to deliver an excellent
read. I look forward to each and every one of her books!
