"The STARDOC is back!"

Dr. Cherijo Torin is back. Only you will have some interesting reading to figure out just who is Cherijo. She is stranded on a frozen planet where women are the lowest of the low and she is an outcast. Akkabarr is a wold in conflict and war between the slaves and the windlords is coming.

Cherijo's ship has crashed on the frozen planet and she has no memory of her past. She carves a place for herself on this hostile world. Duncan Reever will stop at nothing to bring Cherijo home. When he finds her on Akkabarr, it is to find her in the middle of a war doing what she has always done: healing the sick and wounded.

Full of interesting characters and sub plots this is a fast moving page turner. A must read for all Stardoc fans and fans of Ms. Viehl.

Summary

Dr. Cherijo Torin crash-lands on an ice planet whose population is on the verge of civil war. With no knowledge of her past—or even her identity—she becomes entangled in the encroaching conflict, unaware that her husband is moving heaven and earth to find her.
