"Blackstock offers hope for the weary"
I will call Blackstock's newest gift book a companion for
the first book in her new restoration series. As the new
series will deal with normal people discovering how to
live iwthout creature comforts when all electronic
technology disappears. Blackstock admits honestly to her own comfort in all
things modern and ponders how she herself would handle a
life reminiscent of Laura Ingalls Wilder. From here she
touches upon how hardship after hardship allows a closer
walk with God as we put our lives in His hands. Filled with important scriptures to go along with her
theme, this small book will comfort the readers in ays
they can not imagine. You'll also enjoy hearing how some
of her own journey towards faith has inspired her to move
to writing books that glorify our Savior.
