"A fun sexy book!"

Prim and proper fifth grade teacher Roxanne Archer has decided before she turns thirty, she has to have one last fling so she decides to spend her summer vacation in Texas looking for just the right cowboy to have said fling with. When she gets to Texas, she follows the rodeo circuit until she finds just the cowboy she's looking for.

Tom Steele is having one last fling of his own. He's generally a weekend rodeo rider but has decided before he takes over running the Second Chance Ranch he'll spend the summer on the rodeo circuit so he can get to the big finals in Las Vegas. He can't believe that sexy Roxy has picked him to have a hot affair with. Then when she asks if he wants to continue the affair through the summer, what can he say but of course!

This book was just so much fun to read. Roxy tries so hard to be a devil may care sexpot with no thought for the future. Tom can't help but see through her false exterior to the genuine article beneath even though she tries hard to suppress her true nature. She is so hot and wild with him that he can't believe his luck. I really enjoyed the fact that even though they thought they wanted one thing they got even more than they bargained for. I also liked the fact that throughout the book, Tom and Roxy both revealed a little bit about themselves to each other. This is my first Candace Schuler book but if this book is any indication of what I have in store with her books, I guarantee it won't be my last!

Summary

Sometimes BAD is really, really good . . . After getting a makeover from prim to improper, Roxanne Archer--now just Roxy--sets out to have a good time being bad. And she has her heart set on a good-looking, dangerous cowboy to do it with. Her first stop is a west Texas honky- tonk where Tom Steele, with all his dangerous laid-back rodeo cowboy charm, strikes her fancy. But what was supposed to be a one-night stand is so good, one night isn't nearly enough. Tom can't believe his luck. This sexy, sassy woman wants to spend the summer with him, having mind- blowing sex, then go her own way--no muss, no fuss. They both think they've got exactly what they want. For a while.
