"The sequel to The Royal Treatment and what a sequel it is!!"
I simply loved THE ROYAL TREATMENT so I knew I would love
this book as well and I am as pleased as punch to say I
was right. This book was as funny and as wonderful as I
knew it would be. For those who have read the first book, this book is about
Princess Alexandria Baranov. King Al is worried to death
about his daughter. She isn't sleeping well, she's losing
weight and even though she says not, she's still living
the nightmare of when her brother was almost kidnapped and
her father almost killed by an assassin. So Al decides to send her off to the North Dakota
Institute for Sea Life to give her something else to think
about. She and Dr. Shel Rivers clash from the very
beginning but this may be a good thing, right? It will
get her mind off her problems. What ensues will keep you
in stitches the entire book. Alex gives Shel a run for
his money and Shel never knows what hits him. He can't
believe he's so drawn to her. She is the epitome of
everything he hates so why does he want to be around her
all the time? The scrapes and situations Alex and Shel get into kept me
laughing until tears ran freely from beginning to end. I
hope we see many more stories about the wacky Baranov
family. I'm a huge fan of MaryJanice Davidson's books but
I believe I love the Baranov family more than any of her
other characters!
