"Compelling Emotional Romance"

SWEET NOTHINGS is yet another remarkable romance by Catherine Anderson. An abusive ex-husband sends a desperate and emotionally downtrodden Molly Wells on the run. She shows up at the Lazy J Ranch with a severely beaten horse owned and abused by her former husband. She hopes that Jake Coulter can mend the horses' spirit. Jake, the owner of the ranch, is a "horse whisperer", he can heal both the body and spirit of an abused horse

Jake agrees to help the horse but insists Molly be involved in the recovery process. He offers Molly a job, everyday kindness, and an emotionally nurturing environment. Jake is a gentle and reliable hero. Molly wins the hearts of the ranch hands and captures Jake's heart, as well. Her self-esteem and their love grow steadily.

Molly's evil ex-husband raises the stakes and adds a suspenseful sub-plot. However, the best part of Catherine Anderson's tale is the sweet somethings between the hero and heroine. Jake is a knight in shining armor dressed in jeans and a Stetson. Anderson delivers a compelling and emotional romance.
