"Runaway bride"

After discovering her future husband in the arms of the maid of honor, Gina realized she could not go through with the marriage. She realizes that decision was probably the smartest move she ever made, keeping her from a life of a cheating no good husband and his controlling mother. Leaving them in the church, she winds up in a goth bar in New Orleans and seriously drunk.

Quin is the son of a Voodoun priestess and has given up the Voodou life when he felt their gods deserted him during his trial. Gina is the daughter of a preacher, who died under mysterious circumstances, but despite her strict upbringing has secret desires that Quin just may be the man to fill.

EYE FOR AN EYE is the perfect thing to read this time of the year. I hope to read more stories about Gina's sisters and Quin's hot friend Romeo.

Summary

Even if said stranger is the most tantalizing man she's ever met -- spider-tatooed scar and all. Quin Tertulliano has enough excitement in his life after being released from a two-year stint in prison for being falsely accused of rape by a debutante, who had wanted to experience the 'wilder side of life' before settling down. Nowadays, with running his French Quarter club, The Spider's Web, and avoiding his voudon priestess sister's love spells, he has enough to keep him busy. He just wants to lead a quiet peaceful existence. He definitely hasn't planned on waking up next to a runaway bride naked and hungover in his bed! She makes an offer he just can't refuse. Deciding to make the most of the situation, he has sex with the blond goddess only to discover she's as pure as the white dress she had worn the night before when she passed out. Well, maybe in body, but her naughty mind is another thing all together.
